Runnin O Empty - 12x12 oil on panel framed

I love discovering relics of the past that tell a story. This old gas pump sits dockside of what used to be a thriving fishing village. Though there are still a few family owned fishing vessels that still operate, now it is more of tourist town. Judging by the beautiful patina and wear, this ole pump I am sure served it's purpose well, helping to keep the hard working families on the water, and in groceries.
